Anyone loves LoTR?

I personally prefer the books to the movies.

I've seen movies but never read books. They are quite extensive and I have no time right now. But movies are brilliant even tough not always book correct.

This may be a unpopular opinion but I never could get into the series. I liked the Hobbit, but LoTR was very boring to me, I couldn't pay attention to the first movie and never watched the other ones. I like fantasy stuff, but it got boring watching them walk around for hours lol.

Perhaps you are a fan of a movies with many actions and fast going story while LOTR movies are slow and it takes story to build slowly which is fine by me because we can have a deeper understanding.

Yes I love Lord of the Rings. It's really awesome that it was filmed in my country but when I go to the locations now it's hard to remember it from the scenes except for Hobbiton which they kept and turned it into a tourist destination.
