Internet should be a human right?

Do you think the Internet should be a human right?

What do you mean by it?

Years ago I would have said that internet should not be a human right but nowadays, with how much we use the internet for and also because schools and colleges also rely on the internet for things such as remote learning as we have seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I would now say that it is a human right and everyone should have access to even the most basic internet connection because of that.

I do think the internet is more of a right than a privilege these days. Back when I was growing up, the internet was booming and more and more people were using it for everyday living moreso than in the 90's.
