Why are people destroying nature?

Why are people destroying nature? Are we so selfish that we don't care about animals and even future generations?

I'm afraid it seems that way. It really does suck to see how much we've damaged this planet. I don't live near a beach, but if I did I would go down and clean up as much as I could because there's lots of trash that people leave behind on beaches and sadly sometimes animals get trash stuck on their bodies.

Yes! People are so iresponsable nowdays. Just leave stuff and move on somewhere else like nothing happened. And funny enough, bin is close...

Because man has forgotten to live with the biosystem. Modern man is set on technology, materialistic thinking and competition. Not to mention that modern man has forgotten to enjoy the little things in his life.

Agree 100% on this. All you said is on the point. Life in the nature is best for us.

Man from nature comes, and all man has destroyed his own divinely given house. Sad but true, we are fast approaching the self-destruction of the human race.

Sometimes I have a feeling we achieved science greatness in the past and destroyed ourselves. Then we start all over.

According to unwritten sources (relics, fossils and others), there were 4 apocalypses on this planet. The human race destroying itself as soon as it reached its technological-military peak. But why? Well, because the first mistake in the self-destruction of the race is over the animal and plant kingdoms. That's where the thirst for power comes from, and with that comes the dextrogy cycle.

Yes, man is the most intelligent being on this planet. But also the most monstrous being. You see, Scoobie Doo teaches us something. Man is the most feared monster. Even human thinking can become a weapon. Defensive or self-destructive.
